Omar
Saeed Salih received his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on
Communications from Birzeit University, Ramallah, Palestine
in 2004 and MSc degree in Information and Communications Engineering from Leicester University,
Leicester, UK, in 2006. Since June 2007 he has
been a PhD student at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh,
UK. His
academic supervisors are Dr.
Cheng-Xiang Wang, from Heriot-Watt
University and Dr. Dave Laurenson, from the University of Edinburgh. His industrial
supervisor is Mr. Rob Davies,
from Philips Research Cambridge,
UK.
