Misha Titov joined Heriot-Watt University in September 2007 as Lecturer in Physics. He received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics in October 1999 from Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute in Russia. He worked as a postdoctoral scientist in the world-leading groups on mesoscopic physics in Netherlands, Germany, and USA.
Most of his current research is devoted to graphene, which is a promising new material for future electronics. His interests include quantum transport in nanostructures, disordered electronic systems, quantum entanglement formation, and propagation of waves in random media.
