Chemistry in National Student Survey

NSS ranks Heriot-Watt Chemistry No.1 for student satisfaction in Scotland and No.2 in the UK.

The National Student Survey (NSS) is a survey of all final year degree students designed to assess students' opinions of the quality of their degree programmes.   

Heriot-Watt Chemistry was rated particularly highly the quality of the teaching on the course, assessment and feedback mechanisms, academic support and course organisation. Overall 94% of students expressed overall satisfaction with the course. NSS is conducted by Ipsos MORI.
